We offer all potential clients the opportunity to meet us in person or over Skype, whichever is more convenient for the both of you. This allows us to have a friendly chat and to discuss what you would like for your wedding photography. We like to discuss the day itself, any idea’s you have and what type of coverage you after. This is also the opportunity to ask us any questions you may have.
If you book our full day wedding photography service then we offer you both a free pre-wedding photo shoot. The vast majority of the couples we have worked with in the past have expressed some degree of apprehension about having their photograph taken. The pre-wedding photo shoot gives you both the opportunity to be photographed by one of the team so you can both feel relaxed your wedding day in front of the camera. This also provides you with a beautiful set of images along with your wedding photographs.
You can view some examples of our pre-wedding photo shoots by clicking here.
Before your wedding day we usually arrange to meet you at the venue(s) to have a look around and see where everything is happening. We also require a full itinerary from you with addresses and timings. We arrive around one hour before the ceremony, and if you book our morning coverage we will arrive a little after the hair and makeup teams. Our style is based on reportage, so we aim to have as minimal presence as possible. If you would like to have group shots we advise to plan for five minutes for each shot and we limit the number of variations to ten as, in our experience, it takes anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes per shot to find people and then organise the photograph itself. Smaller group shots look much better in the evening when everyone has something to eat and drink and are more relaxed.
Our aim is to have your wedding day photographs to you between 6-10 weeks after your wedding day. All the images that pass editing are supplied to you as high resolution jpegs (we do not provide raw images). We do not limit the number of images we supply and, as a guide, we aim to supply from 400-700 photographs for you. Should you wish to have a wedding day album created for you this can be arranged.
I have always been fascinated with creating visual images. At school I won several local art awards and since picking up a camera over 10 years ago all I have wanted to do is take photographs of anything and everything. My time is spent between Weddings, Commercial assignments and my current project work. My portrait work has won several photography awards.
I am best known for my personal projects, a focus on unseen spaces and our relationships with them that has allowed me to travel extensively throughout Europe over the past 4 years. From these endeavours I have won two awards: the 50mm category of the Professional Photographer of The Year Awards 2012 and Overall Winner of the Professional Photographer of The Year Awards 2013. I have photographed commercial campaigns for Raleigh, Diamondback and Identiti and have since completed assignments for industrial companies like Lafarge and DPD World.
