When you first get in touch
When you first get in touch we like to offer you the opportunity to meet up in person or over Skype. Whichever is more convenient for the both of you. This allows us to discuss what you would like for your wedding photography. We like to discuss the day itself, any ideas you may have and what type of coverage you after. This is also the opportunity to ask us any questions you may have.
Pre-wedding photo shoots
If you book our full day wedding photography service then we offer you both a free pre-wedding photo shoot. The vast majority of the couples we have worked with in the past have expressed some degree of apprehension about having their photograph taken. The pre-wedding photo shoot gives you both the opportunity to be photographed by one of the team so you can both feel relaxed your wedding day in front of the camera. This also provides you with a beautiful set of images along with your wedding photographs.

Your Wedding Day
Our style is based on reportage, so we aim to have as minimal presence as possible whilst photographing your wedding.
Before your wedding day we usually arrange to meet you at the venue(s) to have a look around and see where everything is happening. We arrive around one hour before the ceremony, and if you book our morning coverage we will arrive a little after the hair and makeup teams.
If you would like to have group shots we advise to plan for five minutes for each shot. We limit the number of variations to ten as it can take anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes per shot. In our experience smaller group shots look much better in the evening when everyone has had something to eat and drink and are more relaxed.
Photographs of the both of you are usually split up into two or three 20 minute sessions throughout your day. This isn’t a fixed part of our service, more of a guide and has worked well with all of our previous clients.
After your Wedding Day
Our aim is to have your photographs to you between 6-10 weeks after your wedding day. All the images that pass editing are supplied to you as high-res jpegs (we do not provide raw images). The number of images we supply is not limited and we aim to supply from 400 to 700 photographs to you. Should you wish to have a wedding day album created for you this can be arranged.
The tokyomagic wedding photography team
As a team we have been creating memories for our wedding clients for the past six years. Below is a little more information about the both of us.
I have always been fascinated with creating visual images. At school I won several local art awards and since picking up a camera over 10 years ago all I have wanted to do is take photographs of anything and everything. My time is spent between Weddings, Commercial assignments and my current project work. My portrait work has won several photography awards.
I am best known for my personal projects, a focus on unseen spaces and our relationships with them. This has allowed me to travel extensively throughout Europe over the past 4 years. From these endeavours I have won two awards:
I have also photographed commercial campaigns for Raleigh, Diamondback, Identiti, Lafarge and DPD World.
